Description
Striim is a unified data integration and streaming platform that enables enterprise companies to monitor events, build digital transformation applications, and leverage real-time analytics. This Field Engineer role is a customer-facing technical position supporting enterprise customers throughout the United States and Latin America, serving as a technical leader and trusted advisor across the entire Striim platform implementation lifecycle.
What You'll Do
• Onboard new Striim customers and deliver learning, solution strategy, technical enablement, and implementation guidance during deployment phases
• Lead customer technical teams during development to implement best practices and address enterprise adoption challenges
• Serve as the Striim product expert and trusted technical advisor, conducting health checks and ensuring operational excellence
• Provide technical guidance, training, workshops, and implementation support in both English and Spanish
• Develop and maintain documentation on Striim implementations, best practices, troubleshooting, and customer enablement
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 25% to support customer implementations, technical workshops, and strategic business reviews
What You Need
• Professional fluency in both English and Spanish, with ability to communicate complex technical concepts and conduct presentations
• 3+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales Engineer, Data Engineer, or Customer Success Engineer
• 3+ years of experience with database management systems including Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and SQL programming
• 3+ years of programming experience in Java, Python, and Shell scripting
• 3+ years of experience or deep foundational knowledge of cloud infrastructure and data services including AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted tools such as Claude, OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor as part of daily technical workflows
• Principled knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent relevant work experience
• Must be based 100% remotely within the Continental United States
Nice to Have
• Experience working with messaging systems such as Kafka and JMS
• Experience within enterprise data environments and mission-critical IT systems
• Knowledge of Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Databricks, or modern cloud data platforms
• Deep understanding of modern data integration, data streaming, real-time analytics, and cloud-native architectures
$130,000–$150,000 USD annualized base salary, plus commission-based rewards, comprehensive health care plans (medical, dental, vision), medical and dependent FSA, Paid Time Off (vacation, sick and public holidays), and pre-IPO stock options
