Stellenbeschreibung
As a Finished Goods Planner–Buyer, you will be responsible for planning and purchasing products. This ensures a smooth and efficient flow of goods—from the release of purchase orders to suppliers through to delivery at global distribution centers. You will monitor supplier performance and customer service, while maintaining inventory levels aligned with business targets. Using MRP systems, you will keep planning data up to date, including lead times, safety stocks, and lot sizes. You will also support short-term forecasting and contribute to lean initiatives aimed at reducing process waste.
You will report to the Finished Goods Planning Manager and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice, Poland.
Your Responsibilities
• Order management.
• Supplier performance review.
• Manage assigned material inventories based on defined goals using established inventory control systems and tools.
• Short-term forecast management.
• Maintain data in the MRP system, including price, lead time, lot sizes, and strategy group.
• Participate in lean manufacturing programs for cost-saving improvements through waste elimination.
The Essentials – You Will Have
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of directly related experience.
• Experience with MRP, inventory, and production principles.
• Broad knowledge of supply chain, materials planning.
The Preferred – You Might Also Have
• Experience leading multicultural projects.
• Track record in driving supplier improvements and implementing process improvement projects.
• APICS, PMP, or Lean certifications.
