Character of Position As a Faro Arm Inspector you will support quality assurance and tooling inspection activities. This role is responsible for performing precise dimensional inspections using Faro Arm equipment, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, and supporting build and customer quality requirements. Responsibilities • Perform dimensional inspections using Faro Arm (portable CMM) in support of build and QA activities • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements to validate part accuracy • Complete and maintain Tool Inspection Records (TIR) or customer-required documentation • Identify and document non-conformances; initiate tool tags as required • Support customer buy-offs and quality reviews alongside Lead Inspectors • Maintain and ensure proper calibration and handling of Faro Arm equipment • Accurately record inspection data using document control systems • Follow all Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and work instructions • Track and log labor hours against assigned projects • Achieve quality and production goals • May have potential for travel • Follow OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR compliance • Other duties as assigned Skills • Strong understanding of GD&T and dimensional inspection techniques • Advanced blueprint reading and interpretation skills • Hands-on experience with Faro Arm or portable CMM equipment • Solid problem-solving and analytical abilities • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) • Effective written and verbal communication skills Experience • Minimum 3 years of tooling inspection/manufacturing experience • Experience with metrology software Education • High School Diploma or equivalent Equal Opportunity Employer Visioneering is an equal employment opportunity employer, offering equal employment opportunities to all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability status, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, marital status and any other characteristic protected by law.
