Description
We are currently working in partnership with a local authority client in the Newcastle City area to recruit an experienced Family Partner to join their Preventative & Early Intervention Locality Team. As a Family Partner, you will work as part of a locality-based team supporting families across the community, with a particular focus on vulnerable children, young people and their families. Using a whole-family approach, you will assess needs, coordinate interventions and work alongside partner agencies to deliver effective support plans. Key responsibilities: • Complete thorough assessments of children, young people and families, identifying needs and required interventions. • Develop and review SMART action plans with families to achieve measurable outcomes within agreed timescales. • Build positive working relationships with families, providing both support and challenge to promote sustainable change. • Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure families can access appropriate services and support. • Participate in and support the delivery of parenting programmes, group work and targeted early intervention activities. Key requirements: • Minimum Level 3 qualification. • Experience working with children, young people and families to achieve positive outcomes. • Strong understanding of Early Help, preventative services and a whole-family approach. • Experience working with vulnerable families and managing a varied caseload effectively. Ability to complete assessments, develop outcome-focused plans and maintain accurate records using IT systems. Contract Length: 3-6 months with a view to extend to an ongoing contract. Pay Rate: 16.62 PAYE Working pattern - 37 hours per week.
