Compensation: $58,926.40 /yr Worksite Location: NCAT Campus Hiring Multiple Positions Overview / Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Faculty, Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) to join our team. This position involves teaching students the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the aviation maintenance industry. Instructors will utilize hands-on training methods and up-to-date curriculum to ensure that students obtain the necessary competencies for FAA certification. Your day-to-day  responsibilities  will vary, but are not limited to: Prepare and deliver lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops related to aviation maintenance. Design, implement, and evaluate curriculum and assessments to meet learning objectives. Manage classroom and laboratory environments to provide a safe and engaging learning experience. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed. Collaborate with industry partners to remain current with best practices and emerging trends in aviation maintenance. Requirements Education: Associate Degree or higher,  preferred . Preferred Requirements: A minimum of 3 years’ full time (or full time equivalent) current progressive work experience in aviation maintenance required. Qualifications required for mandatory program accreditation. Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certificate, required. Extensive experience with the following preferred: FAA/FAR Part 147 requirements General Aviation Maintenance Previous teaching or training experience in adult education preferred. Additional Requirements: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – must be able to work with students, technical and administrative personnel in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner. Detail oriented with strong organizational skills. Proficient knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
