Job Title: Facilities Support Specialist Location: Spencer Composites Corporation (SCC), (wholly owned subsidiary of X-Bow Systems, Inc.) Salary: Up to $80,000 annually Summary: Spencer Composites is seeking a reliable and proactive Facilities & Security Support Specialist to support daily facility operations while maintaining a safe and secure environment. This cross-trained role will assist with general maintenance, facility walkthroughs, and security monitoring to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations. Key Responsibilities: Facilities Support • Perform general maintenance assistance and basic repair tasks. • Conduct daily facility walkthroughs to identify issues and ensure operational readiness. • Support routine facility operations, including coordination with contractors or vendors. • Report maintenance needs and assist the Facilities Manager with ongoing projects. • Receive, prioritize, and track maintenance requests to completion. • Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and other building systems. • Coordinate repairs with internal staff and outside contractors. • Conduct routine facility inspections to identify maintenance or safety concerns. • Ensure compliance with OSHA, fire, and environmental safety regulations. • Track facility assets, equipment, and warranties. • Develop and update facility policies and standard operating procedures. • Support special projects and other duties as assigned. Security Responsibilities Operate access control, conduct regular patrols, enforce policies, document suspicious activity, and report concerns. Qualifications: •Experience in facilities management or building operations. •Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs. •Understanding of OSHA and workplace safety requirements. •Strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills. •Proficiency with Microsoft Office and facility management or work-order software. •Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining excellent customer service. • Experience in facilities, security, or a related field preferred • Strong attention to detail and situational awareness • Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate documentation • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • Ability to work independently and respond quickly to issues
