Description Program/Department: Gateway Church / Facilities Job Title: Seasonal R&M Worker Reports To: Facilities Director Job Overview: Gateway Fellowship is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Seasonal Facilities Worker . This role plays a key part in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our facilities and grounds during our busy season. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on problem solver with a strong work ethic and a willingness to assist wherever needed. As a member of the Gateway OneTeam, you will support and demonstrate an understanding of the church’s mission: Presenting Hope and Developing People . Key qualifications include possessing a character that reflects biblical godliness and demonstrates a meaningful, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Job Status/Schedule – May-August, Temporary. Schedule may include occasional evenings or weekends, depending on operational needs. Job Location – This position may float between the Poulsbo and Bremerton campuses. Salary – $17.13 - $18.50/hr Benefits – Sick Leave Responsibilities: • Perform general landscaping duties, including mowing, trimming, raking, watering, and seasonal planting. • Assist with basic repair work such as patching, painting, assembling furniture, and light carpentry. • Support the setup and breakdown of indoor and outdoor events as needed. • Move, load, and store equipment, furniture, and other materials safely and efficiently. • Maintain cleanliness and order in workspaces, storage areas, and grounds. • Perform routine inspections and report any facilities or safety concerns. • Assist with seasonal preparations, including snow removal or weatherproofing (if applicable). Qualifications: • Previous experience in facilities, landscaping, or general maintenance preferred. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor for extended periods. • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. • Team-oriented with a flexible, can-do attitude. • Must be at least 16 years old and possess a valid driver’s license (if driving is required).
