Are you passionate about fabrics and looking to play a key role in bringing exciting fashion collections to life? We are working with a dynamic and growing fashion business in Hangzhou that is looking to appoint an experienced Fabric Sourcer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of textiles and sourcing who enjoys working closely with mills, suppliers, and design teams in a fast-paced creative environment. You will be responsible for sourcing high-quality fabrics across multiple categories, supporting seasonal development, and helping to drive innovation across collections. Main Responsibilities: • Working closely with mills, suppliers, and internal design teams to source suitable fabrics for upcoming collections • Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships across China • Sourcing a broad range of fabrics including woven, knitted, jersey, and denim • Supporting the development of seasonal fabric collections in line with trends and brand direction • Managing fabric sampling, approvals, and quality standards throughout the sourcing process • Researching and keeping up to date with new fabric innovations, trends, and market developments • Negotiating pricing, lead times, and sourcing options with suppliers • Collaborating cross-functionally with product development and production teams Person Specification: • Strong technical knowledge of woven, knitted, jersey, and denim fabrics • Previous experience within fabric sourcing, textile sourcing, or a similar role within the fashion industry • Excellent communication and negotiation skills • Strong organisational skills with a proactive and detail-focused approach • Ability to build effective working relationships with suppliers and internal teams • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities • Fluent English is essential; Mandarin language skills would be advantageous Benefits: • Opportunity to join a vibrant and creative fashion business in Hangzhou • Work closely with innovative designers and established supplier networks • Competitive salary package • Relocation support available for candidates currently based in the UK • Candidates currently based in Shanghai and open to relocating to Hangzhou are also encouraged to apply • Excellent opportunity to experience life in one of China's most exciting and fast-growing cities
