About the Role
The Food & Beverage Server is responsible for providing efficient, courteous, and professional food and beverage service to guests, in line with company standards. The role contributes to ensuring a positive guest experience while maintaining compliance with food safety, hygiene, and operational procedures.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
• Greet and serve guests in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
• Present menus, take orders accurately, and serve food and beverages according to established service standards.
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the service period and respond appropriately to requests or concerns.
• Escalate complaints or service issues to the Supervisor or Manager when required.
• Set up, maintain, and clear tables and service areas before, during, and after service.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Ensure correct handling and storage of equipment, crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
• Report any hazards, accidents, or incidents immediately to management.
• Work cooperatively with colleagues to ensure smooth service operations.
• Maintain professional conduct, appearance, and punctuality at all times.
• Uphold company policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
• Carry out any other duties related to the role as reasonably assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
• Basic education with on-the-job training provided.
• Food Handling Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Previous experience in a food and beverage service role is desirable but not essential.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Order taking and cash handling.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays, in line with operational needs.
• Good command of the English language; knowledge of additional languages is considered an asset.
