Pertemps Southampton is working with an established East Cowes employer to hire an Experienced Welder Fabricator on a full-time, temporary-to-permanent basis. This role pays £15.50 to £17.50 per hour, dependent on experience. The successful candidate will replace a retiring team member and must demonstrate proven industrial welding and fabrication skills. Responsibilities include producing components to precise specifications, conducting high-quality welding, and maintaining safe working practices. The Role You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality welding and fabrication work, producing components to specification while working safely and efficiently. What We're Looking For Proven experience in industrial welding and fabrication. Ideally experienced in both MIG and TIG welding , although candidates with extensive experience in either process will also be considered. Experience welding stainless steel and/or aluminium . Confident using fabrication machinery, including: Guillotine Brake press Cut-off saws Other general fabrication equipment Ability to read engineering drawings would be advantageous. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work as part of a team.
