In this role, you will define and develop advanced machine functions by combining mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, and software, while collaborating with international engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES • Define and specify mechatronic system functions, integrating hydraulic, electrical, and software components • Create functional requirements and technical specifications for control software development • Validate and verify the implementation of mechatronic functions through testing and documentation • Analyze existing system functionalities and drive continuous improvement and innovation • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, Product Lines, and Centers of Excellence to align and standardize system architectures YOUR QUALIFICATIONS • Degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a related technical field, or 5+ years of relevant experience in mechatronic system development • Strong expertise in mechanics, hydraulics, electrical engineering, and software development principles • Knowledge of measurement and control engineering as well as communication protocols such as CAN, CANopen, and J1939 • Structured, analytical, and independent working style with strong problem-solving capabilities • Fluent in English; German language skills are considered an advantage Minimum yearly gross salary according to the Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 53 241,02 based on full-time employment.
