Description
Five Rings is a proprietary trading firm with offices in New York, Boca Raton, London, and Amsterdam. This Trading Operations Engineer role is embedded in the Technology division on the trading desk, providing technical operations support for US and UK-based trading desks.
What You'll Do
• Serve as the first point of contact for traders utilizing the firm's trading systems
• Install, configure, and monitor critical trading applications
• Manage incidents via ticketing system and maintain comprehensive documentation
• Collaborate with developers on operational processes supporting trading applications
• Balance desk-facing activities with light coding tasks in partnership with full-time development staff
What You Need
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency with Python, Bash, and MySQL on Linux
• Excellent communication skills
Base salary $225,000–$250,000 USD annually, with discretionary bonus component
