Experienced KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant – Birmingham – Full-Time Role Location: Birmingham Duration: Full-time, Ongoing (Academic Year) Salary: £75 – £85 per day About the Role: A supportive Birmingham school seeks an experienced KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. You will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to children with learning difficulties, ensuring their individual needs are met within a nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities: • Providing one-on-one and group support to KS1 SEN students. • Assisting with the delivery of core subjects and diverse learning activities. • Supporting students with SLD, MLD, ASD, and complex needs. • Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment. • Following individual education plans (IEPs). Essential Requirements: • Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant SEN experience. • Proven experience supporting children with SLD, MLD, ASD, and complex needs. • Valid Enhanced DBS check (or subscription to the update service). • Valid Photo ID (driving license or passport). • Recent, verifiable school-based references. • Level 1 Safeguarding Certificate.
