Description
Contract management and resolution of legal matters related to all types of commercial contracts Need to constantly abreast with latest developments of the laws, regulations and case laws related to the business and operation of the Group. Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of all types of commercial contracts Administer the internal legal contract database for Solarvest Group. Maintain accurate records of legal and compliance matters, and advise on reporting obligations as required by regulatory bodies or stakeholders. To take initiatives to improve the processes of the operation of the department to increase efficiency, accuracy and productivity such as regular preparation of template agreements for adoption by business units. To support business units in the participation of negotiation of agreements and legal matters with counterparties. Attend to administrative procedures to manage business legal implications. Administer due diligence processes and activities within the country to enforce a structured approach to legal management. Prepare and provide response on court/legal documents/pleadings. Conduct legal research in relation to the assignments given. Monitor and advise on company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and regulatory rulings. Identify and address legal risks, providing practical and strategic solutions aligned with the group’s business strategy and operations. Oversee and administer litigation and dispute resolution matters, working closely with external counsel to develop strategies that protect the group’s interests. Attend and report on any disputes and legal proceedings as and when required. Attend to all legal matters/tasks or other ad-hoc matters/tasks as assigned from time to time by the HOD. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies or a related field. At least 1-2 years of working experience as a legal assistant, legal secretary, paralegal or similar role. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional demeanor. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
