University of Houston is hiring an Executive Director, Development- Law School. The role directs and oversees a central major gifts program and a team of development officers, creating strategic plans, identifying and cultivating major gift donors, managing fundraising projects, and administering budget and personnel. Highlights • Directs the major gifts program for the UH Office of Development and oversees a team of central development officers. • Creates and implements strategic operating plans for major gifts programs. • Identifies prospects, facilitates cultivation and solicitation strategies, and oversees donor stewardship. • Manages special fundraising projects and serves as a resource on major giving techniques. • Recruits and manages volunteer leadership for major gift solicitation and development strategies. • Administers departmental budget and personnel matters. • Requires minimum seven years of job-related experience or equivalent education. • Accepts education in lieu of experience and vice versa. • Department: Development; Employment type: Full-Time Staff. • Salary commensurate with experience and education.
