Description
We are currently recruiting an Executive Assistant to support our Executive Director on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, proactive and professional individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing competing priorities with confidence and discretion. About us We are a social housing landlord and one of the largest housing providers in the region with over 22,000 social and affordable homes, mainly in the Bradford district. We employ a talented workforce of nearly 1,000 people. In 2024 we launched our five-year Corporate Strategy, which runs to 2029. Our purpose is to provide high quality homes, services, and support to our customers, so we’ve worked with colleagues and customers to find out what’s important to them. Our customers sit at the heart of what we do, and our colleagues are the people who’ll help us achieve our vision, which is to create the best customer experience to improve everyday lives. Duties include: Manage the Executive Director’s diary and inbox so priorities, deadlines and decisions are clear. Plan ahead so the Executive Director has the right papers, briefings and actions in good time. Coordinate meetings and activity end-to-end, including logistics and follow-up. Draft and refine emails, reports, briefings and presentations, including grammar, tone, structure and accuracy. Prepare executive summaries and materials for senior audiences. Coordinate board and committee papers, actions and deadlines. Ensure governance processes run smoothly and on time. Prepare and quality-check Board and executive-level papers in line with agreed procedures, so they are clear, accurate and ready for review. Work closely with Governance and internal teams to support a seamless flow of papers, actions and decisions. Provide coordination across the directorate. Carry out horizon scanning to support executive insight. Use Microsoft 365 tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Copilot and SharePoint.
