Job Summary Woodlands Church is looking to add a dynamic Executive Assistant to our staff team! This role will focus on coordinating ministry activities across internal groups while seeking to innovate and streamline the execution of current office procedures/tasks. This role requires a high level of discretion, professionalism, and technical expertise. This is a full-time role, with weekend hours required. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Implement the use of technology and innovative solutions to maximize efficiency and create capacity. • Build, maintain, and act on contact lists for ministry leadership • Work with ministry leads across the church to honor and highlight volunteers • Manage catering/event budgets, prep, and execution for special events • Manage/Direct correspondence both written and digital, maintaining inventory in needed supplies • Maintain a calendar of key seasonal events and community/national happenings and communicate effectively to leadership teams in advance • Manage hospitality needs during the week by performing basic ordering, restocking, maintaining of key items • Support office needs; including answering phones and performing basic office tasks, as needed • Support office needs by running errands (picking up and dropping off) as requested • Manage small projects from time to time with oversight from managing pastor Qualifications: • 2+ years of applicable work experience; tenure is valued • Experience with Microsoft Office programs; additional database experience preferred • Excellent multitasking skills • Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Proven time-management skills; high level of self-initiative • High level interpersonal and communication skills • High integrity and proven ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality • Ability to work in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment
