Job Summary The ARISE IIP Yard Civil Engineer Cameroon position involves supervising and coordinating civil engineering activities related to container yards, wood yards, roads, pavements, culverts, utilities, yard buildings, drainage systems, and associated infrastructure. The role requires extensive experience managing civil works, contractors, quality assurance, and safety while ensuring projects are completed according to engineering standards. Key Responsibilities The selected candidate will: Assist the Yard Civil Manager with project planning and execution. Supervise civil construction activities for yard infrastructure. Monitor foundation, piling, concrete, and precast installation works. Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, labor, and equipment. Implement quality assurance and quality control procedures. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Monitor construction progress and prepare regular reports. Support permitting and regulatory compliance activities. Assist with commissioning and project handover documentation. Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams. Qualifications Applicants should possess: Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering. At least 10 years of experience with a Degree or 15 years with a Diploma in civil engineering supervision and quality control. Experience in port backup area construction projects. Strong AutoCAD skills. Excellent organizational and analytical abilities. Experience coordinating with mechanical and electrical engineering teams. Good English communication skills.
