Description As an EVS Porter , you will protect public health and the environment by operating and maintaining services such as waste management, water, wastewater, and environmental compliance in a safe, efficient, and regulatory-compliant manner. Principal Duties & Responsibilities • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service. • Maintain the highest standards to ensure the detail quality and cleanliness in the casino, public areas, offices, restrooms and other required areas • Operate various professional floor care and specialty cleaning equipment • Contain and clean biohazardous materials • Replenish supplies when necessary Requirements Performs other job-related duties as requested Proof of eligibility to work in the United States Education • High School Diploma or GED Required Additional Requirements • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays Required • Experience with professional cleaning equipment Preferred • Knowledge of various floor surfaces and the processes Preferred • Experience in a similar five-star/five-diamond resort environment Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Ability to work safely, including understanding and following company safety policies and procedures, completing work in a safe manner, caring about safety of self and others, responding appropriately in an emergency, and reporting unsafe conditions; this also includes being aware of unsafe conditions such as spills, wet areas, debris, and addressing quickly and efficiently • Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms • Effective listening abilities • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
