In this role, you'll lead event strategy and execution, develop customer acquisition initiatives through live experiences, manage high-performing teams, and drive measurable results through trade shows, home shows, community events, and promotional activations. What You'll Do As the Show & Event Manager , you'll oversee the strategy, planning, execution, and performance of all event-related initiatives while building and developing a team focused on generating qualified leads and supporting company growth. Responsibilities Include: • Develop and execute comprehensive events and shows strategies that increase brand awareness and customer acquisition. • Recruit, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing events team. • Partner with sales leadership to align event initiatives with business objectives and revenue goals. • Identify target markets and implement localized event campaigns that drive qualified leads. • Plan and oversee trade shows, home shows, community events, promotional activations, neighborhood events, and other live marketing experiences. • Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including staffing, setup, vendor management, scheduling, and on-site execution. • Analyze event performance, market trends, and competitive activity to optimize future strategies. • Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to measure team and event success. • Manage event budgets and allocate resources to maximize return on investment. • Collaborate with internal marketing teams to develop promotional materials, digital campaigns, and brand messaging. • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, event organizers, strategic partners, and community organizations. • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development. What We're Looking For We're looking for a proven events leader who is strategic, data-driven, and passionate about developing people while driving business growth. Qualifications: • 4+ years of events leadership experience, preferably within home improvement, construction, retail, consumer services, or experiential marketing . • Proven success developing and executing event or customer acquisition strategies. • Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams. • Strong understanding of trade shows, home shows, live events, and promotional activations. • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance metrics and make data-driven decisions. • Experience managing budgets and event resources. • Proficiency with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Willingness to travel locally and regionally as needed.
