Description
We are seeking an experienced Event Facilities & Services Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all facilities and operational support services for meetings, conferences, exhibitions, weddings, concerts, and large-scale events. This role ensures that all event venues, infrastructure, technical systems, and support services are prepared to the highest standards, delivering seamless experiences for clients and guests. The ideal candidate has a strong background in event operations, facilities management, and hospitality, with excellent leadership, project management, and stakeholder coordination skills. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and supervise all operational aspects of event facilities and support services. Oversee the operational readiness of all event venues, including ballrooms, meeting rooms, exhibition spaces, outdoor venues, and event support areas. Liaise with Sales, Banquet, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and other departments to ensure successful event execution. Lead the planning and coordination of facility requirements for conferences, weddings, exhibitions, concerts, VIP events, and special functions. Ensure all event facilities, furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), utilities, and infrastructure are fully operational before, during, and after each event. Manage the overall operations of event facilities and services to ensure smooth, efficient, and successful event delivery. Ensure all event venues, equipment, and facilities are maintained in excellent condition and comply with company standards. Supervise event setup, execution, and dismantling while ensuring service quality, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction. Lead, coach, and develop the Events Facilities & Services team to achieve departmental objectives and maintain service excellence. Ensure Audio Visual (AV), LED walls, staging, lighting, rigging, internet connectivity, and other technical infrastructure are coordinated with internal teams and external vendors. Prepare operational budgets, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising service quality. Analyze event operational performance and recommend continuous improvements to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel event operations, banquet operations, convention services, or facilities management. Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of event planning, banquet operations, facility management, and occupational safety. Proficient in hotel/event management systems. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
