  A Day in the Life  
 ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Review bid opportunities and advise on the selection of&nbsp;bids to pursue. 
 ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Attend all pre-bid site meetings to prepare accurate estimates. 
 ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Analyze and comprehend project plans, specs and details. 
 ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Analyze project financials and labor costs.&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Complete thorough bid packages for clients. 
 ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Prepare takeoffs/estimates of costs of materials, labor and equipment. 
 ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Prepare and follow-up on quotes 
 ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Establish and maintain relationships with Accounts (Consultants, GC's,Customers). 
 ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Review all contracts and quotes for accuracy. 
 ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers. 
 ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Review&nbsp;products used in projects (analyze cost etc.) 
 ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Consult and communicate with PMs, Architects, Engineers and Clients 
 &nbsp; 
  What you bring:  
 ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Minimum 5 years of experience Estimating in the Commercial Roofing Industry&nbsp; 
 ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Knowledge of New Construction and re-Roofing experience 
 ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Local market knowledge preferred 
 ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to read plans and specifications 
 ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Blue Beam experience an asset, or other similar software experience accepted 
 ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Excellent written and oral communication skills 
 ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Strong Negotiation Skills 
 ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
