Estimator Location: Leicester Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Based Cherry Professional are delighted to be working with a well-established manufacturing business in Leicester to recruit an Estimator. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator who enjoys working within a fast-paced technical environment and wants genuine long-term career progression. You’ll be responsible for producing estimates and quotations across a diverse range of construction products, interpreting drawings, liaising with customers and supporting the external sales team to win new business opportunities. Responsibilities • Preparing estimates and quotations from customer enquiries • Producing technical take-offs from construction drawings • Liaising with customers to gather project information • Managing urgent quotation requests and fast turnaround times • Working closely with sales teams and manufacturing departments • Identifying additional sales opportunities within projects • Ensuring quotations are commercially competitive and profitable • Maintaining accurate pricing and customer records The Ideal Candidate • Previous estimating experience is essential • Able to read and interpret construction drawings • Commercially aware with strong numerical skills • Confident communicating with customers and colleagues • Strong Excel skills • Experience within roofing, cladding, rainwater systems, fabrication, construction products or building envelope sectors would be advantageous • Sage experience would be beneficial but is not essential What’s on Offer • Pension scheme • Health scheme following probation • Stable and growing business • Genuine progression opportunity into a senior role • Supportive team environment and excellent product training Cherry Professional are recruiting for this opportunity on behalf of our client.
