We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Tutor/Instructor/Teacher Assistant to support English language learners in developing their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. The successful candidate will assist instructors in delivering engaging lessons, provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring, and help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist the lead instructor in planning and delivering ESOL lessons aligned with the curriculum and learning objectives. • Provide one-on-one with students and student small-group tutoring to reinforce classroom instruction. • Support students in improving English language proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary. • Help prepare instructional materials, classroom activities, and learning resources. • Monitor student participation, progress, and attendance, and provide feedback to the lead instructor. • Encourage student engagement and foster a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment. • Assist with classroom management and ensure a productive learning atmosphere. • Support learners with varying English proficiency levels and learning needs. • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, student progress, and classroom activities. • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required. • Promote cultural sensitivity and respect while working with students from diverse backgrounds.
