Our client, a boutique asset manager, is looking to hire a long only Equity Analyst. This role will involve generating and researching potential investment ideas. As part of a small team, you will be working closely with a group of experienced fund managers and actively involved in the investment decision making. Key responsibilities: Identify investment opportunity through detailed company, sector and market analysis Construct financial models and financial analysis Develop and maintain investment idea generation screens Arrange and attend company meetings Assist in portfolio trading activities Candidate Profile: Degree from a top tier university (no degree subject constraints) 2-5 years' equity research experience on the buy-side Genuine interest and passion for investing Preferably working towards CFA A strong intellectual curiosity in how businesses operate Strong numerical and analytical problem solving skills Confidence and skills to present own views and opinions Mason Blake acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
