I'm working with District and local authorities across the UK, those that are in collaboration with the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) , are seeking experienced professionals to lead the rollout of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in their communities. Combined Authorities will be receiving revenue (OZEV) and grant funding (LEVI) to be able to acquire a Delivery Lead that will be embedded into various Transport/Infrastructure Delivery teams , driving forward the planning and delivery of EV charging projects. Working hand-in-hand with OZEV, you will be tasked to ensure the infrastructure is reliable, accessible and aligned with national net-zero ambitions. This is a call out if you'd be interested in: • Strategic leadership : Guide the delivery of EV charging infrastructure programmes within your district/local authority. • Partnership working : Collaborate with OZEV, government departments, councils, industry partners, and communities to accelerate deployment. • Programme management : Oversee budgets, timelines, and performance metrics to ensure successful outcomes. • Innovation and sustainability : Champion best practices and integrate cutting-edge technologies to support net-zero goals. Roles speculated: • EV Infrastructure / EVCI Project Managers – Leading delivery of chargepoint rollout programmes across local authority and private sector frameworks • Programme Managers (EV / Net Zero Transport) – Overseeing multi-site deployment strategies, funding bids, and stakeholder coordination • EV Strategy & Infrastructure Specialists – Supporting local authorities with LEVI funding, network planning, and long-term EV strategies • Senior Consultants (EVCI / Decarbonisation / Transport Electrification) – Advisory roles covering feasibility, procurement, and delivery models • Commercial / Partnerships Leads (EV Infrastructure) – Driving relationships with chargepoint operators, developers, and funding partners • Technical Specialists (Grid / Connections / Energy Integration) – Focused on capacity, DNO engagement, and site viability I'd welcome a CV and am happy to add you to my records to have an initial chat.
