Job Title: Environmental Services Supervisor Job Type: Full Time Shift: Day Salary Range: $22.00 - $28.00/hour, with final offer based on skills, experience, and background.

What We’re Seeking
High school graduate or equivalent education is required, some college is preferred
Must have positive supervisory skills with a minimum of two (2) years’ supervisory experience preferred, environmental services experience preferred, including supervising teams with proven success
Knowledge of and proficiency in the practices and procedures of environmental services; must be familiar with the use of detergents, germicides, strippers and other cleaning/chemical supplies
Familiar with common environmental service equipment; able to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
Must be familiar with common environmental services practices, infection control procedures, pest control programs and floor maintenance methods
Ability to read, write and follow direct written and oral instructions in English Ability to communicate at all levels, provide instruction, coach and train team members
Must understand and own staff scheduling process
Your Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence & Team Leadership
Manages environmental, housekeeping and laundry activities so that optimal services are provided in an efficient and effective manner, may oversee security at specific communities
Supervises and manages all environmental services team members including assigning daily work responsibilities
Establishes and records appropriate schedules to keep environmental services consistently at high levels. Conducts routine inspections and evaluation of cleanliness of community to ensure quality assurance standards are maintained.
Ensures identified deficiencies are promptly corrected
Support and guide the EVS team to deliver seamless, high-quality cleaning and sanitation for all residents, employees, and guests.
Maintain cleanliness and order in event spaces, offices, common areas, chapels, libraries, and other public spaces.
Supervise terminal cleaning of event areas and facilitate timely room turnovers.
Respond promptly to emergency cleaning needs and oversee waste management in compliance with protocols.
Coordinate furniture and equipment moves as needed for events or operational needs.
Inspect rooms and common areas for maintenance needs, reporting issues such as leaks, damaged fixtures, or repair needs to the appropriate department.
Provide training, support, and direction to EVS team members; communicate standards clearly and offer feedback.
Perform and delegate additional duties as assigned to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
