We are currently seeking experienced and talented Environmental Health and Safety Advisors to join our high performing project teams in Vaasa, Finland. REPORTING TO:                                Environmental Health and Safety Lead Purpose of Role The Environmental Health & Safety Advisor is responsible for establishing, developing and directing the implementation of the HS&E strategy on Projects while ensuring that a Positive Safety Culture is maintained, and that Flynn are established as industry leaders in relation to Health, Safety and Environmental compliance. Role Responsibilities • Health & Safety Guidance : Implement Flynn’s EHS policies and provide guidance on all health and safety matters. • Policies, Procedures & Documentation:   Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining EHS documentation. • Inspections, Audits & Reporting  Conduct site inspections and audits and prepare reports. • Risk Management & Incident Reporting : Complete risk assessments and ensure incidents and accidents are investigated. • Training & Communication:  Identify training needs and deliver EHS training sessions. • Subcontractor & Stakeholder Management : Ensure subcontractor compliance with EHS standards The Candidate • Third level qualification in EHS or a related discipline. • 3+ years’ experience working on large scale commercial/construction projects. • Highly organised and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. • Conscientious, highly focused and detail orientated. • Self-starter and the ability to build relationships with all stakeholders. • Full clean driver’s license preferable. • Excellent communication skills.
