Description

We are seeking an Environmental Compliance Manager to join our team and lead efforts to ensure that our operations comply with all relevant environmental legislation and standards. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental compliance programs that support Albert Bartlett's sustainability goals. You will work closely with various departments to monitor environmental performance, manage regulatory reporting, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce environmental impact. Requirements At least 2 years of proven experience in environmental compliance management within the manufacturing sector. In-depth knowledge of UK and EU environmental legislation and regulatory requirements, including water-related environmental compliance requirements. Experience with environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001); experience with audit processes is desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify potential environmental risks and develop mitigation strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external regulatory bodies. Proficiency in data collection, reporting, and environmental performance monitoring. Ability to manage multiple projects and ensure timely compliance with environmental obligations. Degree in an environmental or related field. Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
