Description
Regulatory Compliance & Permitting:
• Ensure compliance with the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) of the DENR , local government units (LGUs), and other relevant agencies.
• Secure and maintain Environmental Compliance Certificates (ECCs), Permits to Operate, Discharge Permits , and other regulatory requirements.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIA) and risk analyses.
• Environmental Monitoring & Reporting:
• Monitor air quality, water quality, waste management, and pollution control to meet regulatory standards.
• Prepare and submit environmental reports such as Self-Monitoring Reports (SMR), Compliance Monitoring Reports (CMR), and other required documentation.
• Maintain proper documentation of environmental compliance activities.
Waste Management & Pollution Control:
• Implement waste segregation, recycling, and proper disposal programs.
• Ensure compliance with RA 9003 (Ecological Solid Waste Management Act) and RA 9275 (Clean Water Act) .
• Oversee hazardous waste management in accordance with DENR guidelines .
Environmental Programs & Sustainability Initiatives:
• Develop and implement environmental management plans (EMP) and sustainability projects.
• Promote energy conservation, water conservation, and pollution prevention measures.
• Conduct training and awareness programs for employees on environmental responsibility.
Inspections & Audits:
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with third-party auditors and government agencies during compliance inspections.
• Address and resolve any environmental compliance issues or violations.
