Description
Looking for candidates from Australia! Position: Entrepreneur in Residence Work hours: Australia Business Hours Freedom Ventures x RunRemote Most people who dream of becoming an entrepreneur never take the leap. Not because they lack ambition. But because building a business from scratch is incredibly hard. You need an idea, capital, customers, systems, a team, and often years of uncertainty before you know whether you're building something people actually want. This opportunity is different. We're looking for an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) to help scale RunRemote, a growing global recruitment business with an established client base, strong foundations, and significant room for growth. The goal isn't to hire an employee. The goal is to find a future business leader with a founder mindset. Someone who wants to help build, grow, and ultimately lead a business with the support of an experienced ecosystem of founders, operators, and investors behind them. About RunRemote RunRemote helps startups and growing businesses hire exceptional talent from the Philippines, Latin America, and South Africa. We specialise in hard-to-fill roles and help businesses access world-class talent at offshore economics. The foundations are already in place: Proven business model Happy clients and strong referrals Established delivery team and systems Growing reputation in the market Large global opportunity Significant growth runway The opportunity now is to accelerate growth. About Freedom Ventures Freedom Ventures is a venture builder and holding company that builds, acquires, and scales businesses alongside exceptional operators. We believe great entrepreneurs shouldn't have to do everything alone. We provide strategic support, capital, systems, mentorship, and access to a network of experienced founders and operators who have built and scaled businesses before. Think of it as entrepreneurship with a support system. The Opportunity You'll work directly with the founder to help scale RunRemote. This is a highly commercial role focused on growth, partnerships, revenue generation, and creating new opportunities for the business. We're looking for someone who naturally gravitates towards growth rather than maintenance. Someone who enjoys opening doors, building relationships, spotting opportunities, testing ideas, and helping businesses reach the next level. Initially you'll work alongside the founder and existing team. Over time, you'll take increasing ownership of the business with a pathway toward a broader leadership role. What You'll Be Doing Identifying and executing growth opportunities Building strategic partnerships and referral channels Driving sales and business development initiatives Exploring new markets, verticals, and customer segments Working closely with clients and key stakeholders Leveraging AI, automation, and technology to improve growth and efficiency Helping shape the long-term strategy of the business Taking increasing ownership and responsibility as the business grows The Ideal Candidate While there is no single background we're looking for, the strongest candidates will likely have experience leading growth within a business, business unit, or startup that is larger than RunRemote today. You may have: Built and scaled your own business Led growth, partnerships, sales, or revenue functions Been an early employee in a high-growth startup Built strategic partnerships that generated meaningful revenue Helped scale a services, recruitment, staffing, or outsourcing business Owned commercial targets and delivered measurable growth outcomes Experience in recruitment, staffing, outsourcing, global talent, or offshore services is welcomed, however certainly not essential. More important than industry experience is a strong comm
