BlueCat is a network infrastructure software company that provides intelligent DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI) solutions for enterprise organizations. This Enterprise Sales Engineer role involves serving as a trusted technical advisor to customers throughout their journey—from discovery through adoption and expansion—helping them modernize their network infrastructure through API-driven automation and AI-assisted operational intelligence. What You'll Do • Lead consultative technical discovery sessions focused on infrastructure modernization, cloud transformation, and automation initiatives • Design and deliver proof-of-value engagements demonstrating automation outcomes, operational efficiency, and infrastructure resiliency • Advise enterprise customers on modern DDI architectures spanning hybrid, multi-cloud, and distributed environments • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and GTM teams to influence product direction and provide customer feedback on automation capabilities and API usability • Deliver technical workshops, executive presentations, and architecture reviews for both technical and business audiences What You Need • 3+ years of experience in sales engineering, infrastructure engineering, network engineering, systems engineering, technical consulting, or customer-facing architecture roles • Strong understanding of enterprise networking, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and network infrastructure operations • Experience supporting enterprise hybrid and multi-cloud environments • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, orchestration technologies, and cloud networking architectures • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience Nice to Have • Experience with API-driven infrastructure and automation frameworks • Familiarity with AI-assisted operations, infrastructure intelligence, and operational analytics • Experience integrating infrastructure platforms with cloud providers, security tools, or IT operations ecosystems • Linux/UNIX systems administration and scripting experience
