English Teacher – Avilés, Asturias Befriends is looking for an enthusiastic English teacher to join our team in Avilés. You will teach both children and adults. In addition, you will help students prepare for official English exams. We are looking for someone who enjoys teaching, works well with others and wants to grow professionally. Qualifications Qualifications You should hold a degree in English Studies, Education, Translation or a related field if you are a Spanish applicant. If you are an international applicant, you should have a recognised teaching qualification such as CELTA, DELTA, TEFL, TESOL or PGCE. You should also have at least two years of teaching experience. Furthermore, you must live permanently in Asturias and be legally entitled to work in Spain. We are looking for someone who is dynamic, creative and proactive. Most importantly, you should have a genuine passion for teaching and helping students achieve their goals. Conditions What We Offer We offer a fixed-discontinuous contract with between 18 and 22 teaching hours per week as a lead teacher. Your salary will follow the current collective agreement. However, we reward commitment, strong performance and professional growth, so there is room for salary progression. You will join a supportive team in a friendly working environment.
