English teacher
Location: Tunbridge wells
Contract: Temporary (with potential for long-term opportunities)
Start date: Flexible
Pay: 130 to 200 per day (dependent upon experience, training, qualifications)
Term Time Teachers are currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable English Teacher to join a supportive and highly successful secondary school in Tunbridge Wells . If you have a love for teaching English and have the ability to engage students in English lessons, we would love to hear from you!
Role Overview
• Deliver high-quality English lessons across secondary Key Stages
• Plan and create engaging, curriculum led lessons
• Encourage an interest of English language and literature
• Monitor student progress and support academic development
Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
• Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom control
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Legal right to work in the UK
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing
