Assignments may involve writing prompts, comparing model responses, editing explanations, fact-checking claims, evaluating reasoning steps, and correcting errors in grammar, meaning, logic, structure, tone, or methodology. The successful contractor will combine advanced linguistic knowledge with editorial judgment. Their work will help AI systems generate English responses that are more accurate, coherent, contextually appropriate, stylistically consistent, and useful across academic, professional, technical, and general communication settings. Key Responsibilities * Review AI-generated English responses for accuracy, clarity, fluency, relevance, and instruction compliance. * Evaluate reasoning steps and determine whether conclusions are logically supported. * Identify errors involving grammar, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, discourse structure, and word choice. * Detect ambiguity, meaning drift, contradictions, unsupported claims, and conceptual misunderstandings. * Produce precise corrections and explain why specific revisions are necessary. * Write model answers that demonstrate stronger reasoning, organization, language control, and factual accuracy. * Compare multiple AI responses and rank them according to correctness, reasoning quality, clarity, and usefulness. * Create detailed prompts and reference responses across a range of subjects. * Develop examples that help AI models understand tone, register, context, and audience expectations. * Apply style guides consistently across punctuation, capitalization, spelling, terminology, formatting, and voice. * Edit content for academic, professional, technical, conversational, and general audiences. * Fact-check statements when required and distinguish verified information from unsupported assumptions. * Test model outputs for inaccuracies, biased framing, inconsistent reasoning, and misleading language. * Assess whether AI responses fully answer the original prompt without introducing irrelevant content. * Document recurring model errors and provide actionable feedback to project teams. * Maintain consistent quality when completing hourly assignments across remote workflows. * Use platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and other AI tools during evaluation tasks. * Communicate questions, findings, and quality concerns clearly to distributed team members. * Follow confidentiality, data handling, and project-specific review requirements. * Support the improvement of reusable rubrics, examples, and language evaluation guidelines. Ideal Profile * Bachelor 's degree or higher in Linguistics, English, Translation and Localization, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline. * Minimum C1 English proficiency, with C2 or native-level command strongly preferred. * Professional proficiency in at least one additional language is highly desirable. * Advanced understanding of English grammar, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, and discourse. * Strong editing ability across formal, academic, technical, business, and conversational registers. * Exceptional attention to linguistic detail and subtle shifts in meaning. * Ability to explain corrections in clear, structured, and actionable written language. * Experience identifying ambiguity, inconsistencies, factual weaknesses, and logical errors. * Confidence applying editorial standards and style guides across varied content types. * Strong reasoning skills with the ability to assess both language quality and conceptual accuracy. * Experience in professional copyediting, editorial QA, localization QA, translation review, or language research is preferred. * Previous involvement in AI data training, annotation, prompt development, or large language model evaluation is strongly preferred. * Hands-on experience using ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and comparable AI platforms. * Reliable and self-directed approach to remote hourly contract work. * Ability to maintain quality while working across changing topics and project instructions. * Strong written communication and dependable responsiveness across time zones. * Comfortable completing an AI interview, domain assessment, or recruiter interview as part of the selection process.
