Description
Our client based in Goole is looking for an Engineering Team Leader on a full time permanant basis. DAYS ONLY
Working hours : 40hrs/week: Mon – Thursday 08:00hrs – 16:30hrs/Friday 08:00 – 14:00hrs (with some call out responsibility)
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be a multi skilled maintenance engineer electrical and mechanically trained (electrical biased) with experience of pneumatic systems being desirable. You shall be responsible for the day-to-day management of the engineering team of 3 maintaining and repairing all plant equipment including filling, blending & packaging equipment.
Their duties and responsibilities will include:
• Managing a small team of Engineers (including an Apprentice)
• Controlling our In-House Preventative Maintenance System
• Working alongside the existing maintenance engineers and apprentices as well as alone
• Prioritising their workload with the use of in-house systems
• Playing an active part in site Health & Safety
• Review existing process, with a view to offering improvement suggestions
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills & experience:
• Apprentice trained (Electrically biased with mechanical experience)
• 17 th or 18 th Edition Regulations
• C&G 2391-52 Inspection and Testing
• 3 Phase and Single Phase Motors
• Panel Wiring
• Ability to Diagnose plc Faults
• Knowledge of Conveyor Systems and Inverters
• Knowledge of Labellers and Printers
• Computer literate
• Worked in a fast paced manufacturing facility – desirable
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Have a positive, proactive and flexible approach to work
• Working towards a culture of continuous improvement
• A logical approach to problem solving
