Job Summary
Work directly under the supervision of Plant Manager. Responsible for engineering to support the growth of the plant including all aspects, functions. Design, develop and implement initiatives to improve the Company's processes and operations to enhance competitiveness and operational excellence.
Key Job Responsibilities
• Prepare quotation for complete technical and commercial Cutting Tools for customers. Take technical responsibility for the Project's orders (all technical information is clear to the customer before the quotation and after the order is sent). Technical project management.
• Plan and execute the transfer of projects to KVN
• Develop new, innovative tool solutions together with customers and machine tool builders.
• Parts cost management - Analyze and optimize production processes.
• Process citation/study is supported.
• Grasp concepts in production management such as: Safety, Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, RCA, 5S, Kaizen, etc.
• Consent to projects to improve OEE and reduce cycle times
• Create documents and store them according to the Company's procedures.
• Communicate with suppliers (technical and commercial, follow the work assigned to them).
• Review and measure engineering methods, technology applications, work processes and apply lean/continuous improvement application skills.
Education, Work Experience, Skills, Certificates
• Fluent in English and Vietnamese (written and spoken)
• Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering or Technical Educations
• 1 to 3 years of related work experience in metalworking industry (cutting tools and/or CNC metalworking machines and/or CAD/CAM software is a plus)
• System processing experience - specifically, SAP
• Knowledge of ISO systems/ TS 16949/ ISO 14001 preferred
• Proactive, aggressive, well-organized and hardworking
• Ability to prioritize and follow-up on issues with method and efficiency
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• High level of autonomy, experience in working in fast moving, technical business environment
• Strong knowledge of MS Office software, ACAD and/or other CAD/CAM software
