Employment Law Specialist needed! £50 - £55 an hour This is a role for an experienced employment law specialist to join a large in-house legal services team on a largely remote basis. You will join an existing team of 3 other solicitors who dedicate themselves to employment law. The role is to manage mixed caseloads of employment related litigation, which may include: • Unfair and wrongful dismissal (actual and constructive). • TUPE / redundancy. • Discrimination (age, disability, race, religion / belief and maternity / pregnancy / sex). • Employment Tribunal preliminary hearings and final hearings. • Appearing in mediations. • Negotiating settlement agreements. • Advising on the enforceability of restrictive covenants / connected confidentiality issues.. • Grievance and disciplinary investigations. This role can be worked largely on a remote basis, with one day a week in the Birmingham offices, and the client offers an unrivalled level of flexibility in terms of the structure of the working week.
