Junior Employment Solicitor Boutique West End London Firm 1- 3 PQE Legal 500, Chambers Ranked Team A highly regarded boutique law firm in London's West End is seeking a Junior Employment Solicitor to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified solicitor or junior associate looking to build their career within a collaborative, partner-led environment that offers high-quality work, genuine responsibility and excellent long-term progression. The successful candidate will advise both employers and employees across a broad spectrum of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. This role offers the opportunity to gain exposure to an exceptionally varied caseload, working with a diverse client base that includes businesses, senior executives, high-net-worth individuals and trade unions. Working closely with experienced partners, you will benefit from direct client contact, early responsibility and involvement in complex, high-profile matters. The Role • Advising both claimant and respondent clients on a wide range of employment law matters. • Acting for senior executives on complex and high-value employment issues, including exits, settlement agreements, discrimination and whistleblowing claims. • Managing and assisting with Employment Tribunal litigation from inception through to final hearing. • Drafting and negotiating employment contracts, service agreements and settlement agreements. • Advising on disciplinary and grievance procedures, redundancies, discrimination, whistleblowing and unfair dismissal matters. • Supporting corporate transactions with employment-related due diligence and TUPE advice. • Assisting with trade union matters and developing experience within this specialist area. • Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives. The Candidate • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with up to 3 years' PQE (NQs with a strong employment seat are encouraged to apply). • Solid grounding in employment law with experience gained at a reputable firm. • Strong technical ability and excellent drafting skills. • Commercially minded with a proactive and client-focused approach. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Keen to develop within a boutique practice offering genuine long-term career prospects.
