Position Title: Employment Law Attorney Permanent/ Full-time Work Model: Hybrid (Onsite 3 days per week, Remote 2 days) Worksite Location: Woodland Hills, CA 91367 Estimated Salary: 130-140k base (Additional compensation includes bonuses for exceeding expectations, and bringing in new clients) Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience level, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Employment Law Attorney with a strong background in wage and hour litigation, including PAGA (Private Attorneys General Act) experience. This role will in defending employment-related claims and advising on compliance strategies. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage employment litigation matters, particularly wage and hour disputes. • Handle PAGA claims and represent the company in related proceedings. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel on case strategy. • Draft legal documents, pleadings, and responses. • Provide guidance on employment law compliance and risk mitigation. • Support discovery, depositions, and trial preparation. Qualifications • J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in CA. • Minimum of 3 years of employment litigation experience (not just advice & counsel). • Experience with PAGA claims strongly preferred. • Open to candidates from the plaintiff side, provided they are committed to transitioning to defense. • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
