Job Description: TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. has an opening in its Anderson, SC, distribution facility for an Emergency Services Officer I. An ideal candidate will have good communication skills, both written and verbal, and must give evidence of both. They will have to demonstrate excellent surveillance and emergency response skills as well as a strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to life safety and assets. Officers primarily work fixed posts and may support additional assignments after completing required training. Key Responsibilities • Control access points and verify employee and visitor credentials • Monitor assigned posts, patrol areas, and security systems • Identify, report, and assist in resolving safety and security concerns • Operate security and monitoring systems (e.g., access control, alarms, cameras) • Monitor fire alarm panels and respond according to emergency procedures • Conduct routine patrols and maintain familiarity with buildings and campus layouts • Prepare clear, accurate, and objective incident reports • Respond appropriately to unsafe or high-risk situations • Communicate effectively via radio using established protocols • Provide professional, courteous service to employees, visitors, and vendors • De-escalate conflicts calmly and professionally • Complete required safety, compliance, and skills-based training Required Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent experience • Valid state-issued driver’s license • Ability to complete and maintain annual SLED certification • Basic computer skills and ability to use security-related software Preferred Qualifications • CPR, First Aid, and AED certification • Completion of SLED Basics and Fire Extinguisher Training • Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience • Strong interpersonal and communication skills Physical Requirements • Ability to remain alert in a dynamic environment • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs. • Ability to perform team lifts over 50 lbs. using safe lifting practices • Ability to perform CPR, including effective chest compressions • Ability to see, hear, and communicate clearly during emergencies Why Join Us • Meaningful work that supports safety and service • Training and career development opportunities • Professional, team-oriented work environment
