The foundation is already in place, and your role is to learn the existing solution, develop it further and help other products and engineering teams adopt the same platform and practices. This is a newly created, hands-on technical role where you will focus on Linux operating system development and work closely with a software development and testing team in Finland while your manager is located in the Netherlands. You will work with an ISAR-based Linux platform, contributing to operating system updates, packaging and platform maintenance, while also developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. As you become familiar with the existing solution, you will take increasing ownership of adapting and expanding it to meet the needs of other teams across Konecranes Port Solutions organization. You will collaborate with engineering teams in Finland and across the Europe, mainly Germany and Italy, which means that part of your role is also about sharing technical knowledge, understanding different teams' needs and helping them make effective use of the platform. Occasional travel within Europe is expected, typically a few times per year. This is a full-time and permanent position. You will be employed by Biisoni and work on assignment at Konecranes. This role follows a flexible hybrid working model. You can work remotely based on your tasks and preferences, while we expect you to join your colleagues at the office when the work or team collaboration requires it. Especially during onboarding, regular presence in Hyvinkää is important so that you can work closely with the team members and become familiar with the platform and working environment. **What are we looking for?** What matters most in this role is strong hands-on Linux expertise combined with some previous working experience in industrial IT, industrial software development or a comparable OT environment. You have a relevant educational background but your practical expertise and ability to understand technical environments matter more than a specific educational background. You understand Linux beyond application development and are familiar with areas such as operating system updates, packaging and maintaining Linux based platforms. Experience with Yocto or ISAR is valuable. You have a good understanding of the principles how CI/CD pipelines are built, maintained and integrated into software development. Experience with technologies such as Jenkins, Git, Groovy, Python and Grafana, as well as knowledge of networking and OT environments, is considered an advantage. As a person, you are eager to learn and develop your expertise in Konecranes products and solutions. You are proactive and take ownership of your responsibilities independently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important, as you will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, support other teams when needed and work together to find the best technical solutions across different teams and cultures. Fluent spoken and written English skills are essential, while other language skills, such as Finnish, German or Italian, are con
