Are you a qualified Electrician looking for a role where your skills make a real difference to customers every day? We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading housing provider for an experienced Electrician to join their Property Services team, covering West Dorset . The Role Working across domestic properties, you’ll carry out a range of electrical installations, inspection and testing, repairs and maintenance to a high standard, ensuring all work complies with current regulations and company standards. You’ll receive your work electronically via a PDA and will work independently while being fully supported by an experienced management team. Key Responsibilities • Carry out domestic electrical installations, repairs and maintenance. • Complete inspection and testing in accordance with British Standards. • Diagnose electrical faults and undertake remedial works. • Complete all certification and electronic job records accurately. • Deliver outstanding customer service while working within customers’ homes. • Work safely and comply with all Health & Safety and electrical regulations. • Liaise with colleagues to ensure works are completed efficiently. • Participate in the out-of-hours standby rota. About You We’re looking for someone with: • AM2 qualification (or equivalent). • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent). • Proven experience in domestic electrical installations. • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills. • Strong customer service and communication skills. • Good IT skills and confidence using handheld devices. • Full UK Driving Licence. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Willingness to undertake face-fit testing.
