Description
About Us
Williams Electric & HVAC is a fast-growing commercial electrical contractor serving the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. We specialize in commercial and light industrial projects, including ground-up construction, manufacturing facilities, and tenant improvements.
Our projects typically range from $200K to $2M+ , and we are actively scaling toward larger, more complex work. Our reputation is built on quality execution, strong GC relationships, and a commitment to doing things the right way.
All of our work is local to the DFW area — no out-of-town travel required.
We are looking for a high-level Electrical Project Manager who wants real ownership, not just a seat in the system.
What You’ll Do
• Take full ownership of multiple commercial electrical projects from pre-construction through closeout
• Manage project financials (P&L responsibility) including budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and profitability
• Develop and drive project schedules, manpower plans, and procurement timelines
• Lead coordination with Superintendents, Foremen, GCs, engineers, and owners
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and contract documentation
• Perform material buyout and subcontractor procurement
• Identify risks, scope gaps, and field issues early and drive solutions
• Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, and contract requirements
• Lead project meetings and represent the company professionally
• Mentor and develop junior PMs, APMs, and field leaders
What We’re Looking For
• 7–10+ years of commercial electrical construction experience
• 3+ years managing projects as a PM or Senior PM
• Proven ability to run mid-to-large commercial projects ($200K–$2M+)
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction sequencing, and field operations
• Deep knowledge of NEC and commercial construction processes
• Strong financial management skills (job costing, forecasting, margin control)
• Ability to operate independently and make decisions with confidence
• Experience with Procore, ServiceTitan, or similar platforms
• Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred
• OSHA 30 preferred
Why This Role Is Different
• True ownership — you run your projects like a business
• Direct access to leadership — no corporate layers
• Growth opportunity — step into Senior PM or leadership roles as we scale
• High-impact work — visible projects with repeat GC clients
