Electrical Maintenance Engineer Location: Coleford, Gloucestershire Salary: £52,741 per annum + Excellent Benefits Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights) | 18-day break every 6 rotations Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer or Shift Electrician looking for your next challenge within a large manufacturing environment? Kingston Barnes is recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing business in the Coleford area for a Shift Electrician to join an established engineering team. The Role As a Shift Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, electrical fault finding and breakdown repairs to ensure maximum plant reliability and production uptime. Your responsibilities will include: • Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site • Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on manufacturing equipment • Completing preventative maintenance schedules using the CMMS system • Fault finding on motors, drives, control systems and production machinery • Repairing and maintaining AC & DC motors • Working on motor control circuits, lighting systems and electrical distribution equipment • Supporting maintenance on cranes, compressors and other ancillary equipment • Assisting with fault finding on hydraulic and pneumatic systems • Working safely under permit-to-work procedures and site safety systems • Supporting continuous improvement and identifying long-term engineering solutions The Ideal Candidate To be successful in this role you will have: • NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent Electrical Engineering qualification • 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations • Previous experience within a manufacturing, process or industrial environment • Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience • Experience with motors, motor control, PLCs and variable speed drives • Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and preventative maintenance • Experience using CMMS systems (SAP experience advantageous) • A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills • The ability to work effectively within a shift engineering team Package • £52,741 annual salary • 5% Employer Pension Contribution (5% Employee) • Life Assurance (4x annual salary) • Time Off In Lieu (up to 2 days per month) • Overtime available • Holidays built into the shift pattern • Excellent work-life balance with 18-day breaks every six rotations • Stable, long-term opportunity with a leading manufacturing business If this role is of interest please press apply or reach out to Ryan Guy on 07837434353 or [email protected]
