The Air Dominance and Strike (AD&S) Electrical Engineering Team is responsible for developing high-reliability avionics, embedded processing, and power systems for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms. Working across hardware, software, and mission autonomy, the team delivers flight-critical electronics, PCB assemblies, and FPGA-based processing architectures that enable Anduril's next-generation autonomous air platforms to operate in complex and contested environments. AD&S Electrical Engineers drive end-to-end development, from system architecture and circuit design to verification, integration, and flight test, ensuring scalable, mission-ready solutions that meet the performance, reliability, and survivability demands of the U.S. Military and modern air warfare.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for an Electrical Integration Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA . In this role, you will work closely with avionics, systems, manufacturing, and flight test teams to support the development and test of air vehicle designs. WHAT YOU WILL DO
Create support documentation to include block diagrams, ICD’s wiring interconnect diagrams throughout all phases of product development
Build up and test of avionics system components through lab, ground, and flight tests
Manage concurrent involvement in multiple projects at various stages
Participate in design reviews and provide input to identify issues and drive design choices
Conduct root cause analysis in support of vehicle integration and field operations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
Knowledge of Linux command line syntax, Virtual Machines, IP addressing and subnet structures, interpret system diagrams, lab equipment usage (power supply, voltmeter, oscilloscope, SA, SG, VNA), troubleshooting skills
Proficient in designing electrical harnessing for rugged commercial, industrial, aerospace, or military applications
Familiarity with common electrical bus interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, RS422, RS232, MIL-STD-1553)
Must possess excellent communication skills
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years experience designing and integrating electrical systems into high-speed air vehicles
