As an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of critical manufacturing facilities while contributing to continuous improvement and plant optimisation initiatives. Key Responsibilities - Lead and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for instrumentation and electrical systems to ensure safe and reliable plant operations. - Plan, coordinate, and execute major maintenance activities with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and operational excellence. - Collaborate closely with production, engineering, contractors, and external stakeholders to minimise downtime and ensure timely completion of maintenance works. - Conduct instrumentation studies, troubleshoot complex plant issues, and implement system modifications based on operational and business requirements. - Support plant improvement projects involving instrumentation, automation, and process control systems. - Provide technical guidance and competency development for technicians and contractors through structured training and coaching. - Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and SS651 standards. - Participate in emergency response activities and provide timely technical support for critical instrumentation issues. Requirements - Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related disciplines. - Minimum 3 years of maintenance or engineering experience within the petrochemical, chemical, refinery, power generation, oil & gas, or heavy industrial sectors. - Hands-on experience maintaining plant instrumentation and process control equipment. - Exposure to Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Process Gas Chromatographs (PGC), or other industrial automation systems will be an added advantage. - Familiarity with SAP PM and Microsoft Office applications is advantageous. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
