Role: Electrical & Hydraulic Fitter
Location: Worksop, S80 3AT
Hours: 40 hours per week | between 06:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday
Hourly Rate: Up to £17.90 ph DOE
Are you an experienced engineer with a strong interest in electrical and hydraulic systems? We’re looking for a skilled and detail-focused Electrical & Hydraulic Fitter to join our Manufacturing team in Worksop. This is a practical role where you’ll be responsible for assembling and fitting electrical and hydraulic systems to a high standard, ensuring all work meets build specifications and quality requirements in line with BS EN ISO 9001.
What you'll do:
Interpret electrical and hydraulic drawings accurately
Carry out electrical and hydraulic fitting and electro-mechanical assembly
Take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of your work
Maintain good housekeeping standards and follow all health and safety procedures
Work collaboratively with colleagues and support planning and improvement activities
Adapt to different tasks and support across departments when required
Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment
What you'll bring:
Training or experience in fitting, hydraulics, pneumatics, or electrical systems
Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment
Ability to problem-solve and work to production schedules
Confidence reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
A team-focused approach with good attention to detail
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Auto-electrical qualifications and CANbus knowledge (desirable)
Flexibility to support overtime when required
