Deine Rolle auf einen Blick As the Electrical Engineer for Electrical Data Center Systems, you will be based within the DACH region and provide support to the regional engineering teams in the construction, commissioning, management and operation of their electrical infrastructures. You will provide consistent regular reporting of the condition and efficiency of the countries’ electrical systems, identifying any areas for improvement, identifying and planning improvement projects and providing a regional update on progress. You will review and approve the technical aspects of high-risk changes and incident reports, whilst providing support to countries during incidents and will lead any follow-up investigation and analysis as required. Das bringst Du mit What will you do? • Assist the regional team in defining and implementing the NTT Global Data Centers EMEA Tech-Ops (Technical Operations) standards and will ensure that the electrical infrastructures are effectively maintained and optimised • Assist the regional team in defining and implementing the Tech-Ops standards and ensure that the electrical infrastructures are effectively maintained and optimized • Help and support the regional team in creating energy business cases for infrastructure change • Ensure that the electrical systems are efficiently optimized • Carry out regular tours and ad-hoc inspections of the regional facilities • Hold post-handover project lessons learnt meetings for further improvement • Instruct regional personnel also in the mechanical & cooling infrastructure in close collaboration with the training department • Carry out Scenario training for the site team with a view to continuous improvement • Carry out project management duties if required, e.g. initial planning, costing, procurement, subcontractor selection supervision and management • Be part of the EMEA call out team as required What are we looking for? • Several years of experience working in electrical critical mechanical environment within a large company, IT-Industry, Telecommunications, Electric power industry or comparable preferred • Experience in leading HV switching operations and acting as the SME and in country AE for these activities • Experience in data centers is considered a significant advantage • Subject matter experts understanding of operational and maintenance governance principles • Awareness of Root Cause Analysis management frameworks highly desirable • Proficient in English and German language both written and verbal • A maintenance excellence and zero-downtime mentality • Demonstrable skills in technical management, and collaboration • Ability to work in multinational, interdisciplinary and culturally diverse teams Über NTT Global Data Centers Als drittgrößter Anbieter von Rechenzentren weltweit betreiben wir mehr als 150 Data Centers in über 20 Ländern und Regionen.
