To Apply for this Job Click Here Electrical Day Shift Engineer – Mayfair | £50,000 + Overtime Location: Mayfair Salary: £48,000 – £50,000 + Excellent Overtime Opportunities Shift Pattern: Days Only Shift (Mixture of 4’s and 6’s) We are currently recruiting for a skilled Electrical Day Shift Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider at a prestigious commercial office site in the heart of Mayfair. This is an ideal role for an experienced engineer looking to advance their career within a professional and supportive environment. As an Electrical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems on-site. Working as part of a dedicated maintenance team, your duties will include both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive fault-finding across the building. What’s on Offer • Competitive salary of £48,000 – £50,000 • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays • Generous overtime available • Pension scheme & healthcare benefits • Ongoing training and career development • Positive and collaborative team culture • Strong career progression opportunities Key Responsibilities • Perform daily PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems • Maintain and service lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, and fire alarm systems • Fault finding, testing, and repair of electrical plant and equipment • Attend and resolve emergency callouts in line with KPIs and SLAs • Carry out minor fabric and basic mechanical tasks where required • Manage tools, materials, and parts required for maintenance activities • Supervise subcontractors and ensure work quality and compliance • Support the Lead Engineer and Account Manager with statutory compliance • Ensure maintenance schedules and operational targets are consistently met Requirements • Recognised City & Guilds Electrical Qualification (or equivalent) • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential) • Proven experience in electrical building maintenance within commercial environments • Prior experience in a shift-based engineering role • Willingness to join a 1-in-4 call-out rota • Strong fault-finding skills and technical knowledge This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company offering a stable and rewarding career path, with ongoing support for your professional development.
